I am an international student pursuing a Master's in Computer Science at the Centro de Investigación en Computación (CIC), Instituto Politécnico Nacional, Mexico City. My research focuses on Artificial Intelligence applied to social good challenges, with a particular emphasis on Natural Language Processing.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Punjab, Pakistan. I am a published researcher with work in peer-reviewed journals and Scopus-indexed international conferences organised by ACM and the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL). My current work centres on hope speech detection in multilingual social media discourse, using transformer-based models (BERT, RoBERTa, DistilBERT) alongside classical ML approaches.
Beyond research, I have led software development projects including an AI-integrated freelancing platform, and served in leadership roles within university societies — strengthening skills in teamwork, communication, and project management.
